Dr Sakina Koubeh is a UK-trained Consultant in Endocrinology & Internal Medicine based at King's College Hospital London Dubai with over 20 years of experience. She completed her medical degree at the University of Aleppo, Syria in 2000 and later moved to the UK and was awarded her Membership with the Royal College of Physicians. She earned her Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in both General Internal Medicine and Endocrinology & Diabetes Mellitus recognised by the General Medical Council (UK) in 2017.
Before moving to the UAE, Dr Koubeh worked in the UK's National Health Service (NHS) for a decade. She moved to Abu Dhabi and began practicing at Imperial College London Diabetes Centre in 2018 where she worked for 4 years before joining King's College Hospital London in July 2022.
Dr Koubeh has special interests in Type 2 diabetes and its comorbidities, thyroid disease, bone disease and weight management. At King's, she offers treatments for the following conditions:
