Mr Verma gained his medical degree (MB BS) from the University of Cambridge before training in London and Manchester. During this time, he undertook a fellowship at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital focusing on complex ear diseases, hearing implants, and airway problems.
He then spent two years as a fellow of Harvard Medical School at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, where he completed doctoral research in advanced hearing implant technology. During this time, he worked alongside renowned surgeons from all across the world.
