About Dr Rob Caudwell
Dr Rob Caudwell is a highly experienced General Practitioner and Director of R&B Clinical in Southport, with a broad scope of clinical expertise. His areas of special interest include musculoskeletal medicine, joint injections, chronic disease management, medical weight management, migraines, frailty, and paediatrics. He qualified with a Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Liverpool in 2000 and completed his medical training across several hospitals in the North West of England, including Southport, Ormskirk, Aintree, Warrington, and Arrowe Park. In 2004, he became a GP partner in Southport and continues to play a key role in primary care, currently working across two general practices. Dr Caudwell is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and holds a diploma from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Alongside his clinical work, he has held a number of senior leadership roles within the NHS. He served as Chair of the NHS Southport and Formby Clinical Commissioning Group from 2014 to 2022 and is currently a member of the Sefton Local Medical Committee. He also works as Clinical Director for the Southport and Formby Primary Care Network and is a director of the local GP federation Dr Caudwell combines hands-on clinical expertise with significant healthcare leadership experience, contributing to both individual patient care and the wider development of local health services.
