As a psychotherapist, the first part of any work together is helping you make sense of what is happening in your inner world, so that change feels possible rather than overwhelming. Many of the people who come to see me feel stuck in repeating patterns of anxiety, low mood, people-pleasing, or burnout, even though on the outside they seem to be coping well. If that resonates, therapy with me offers a structured yet warm space to understand these patterns and gently move towards a life that feels more free, connected, and authentic.

My approach integrates Psychodynamic Therapy (exploring how past experiences shape the present), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills (for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and communication), and Polyvagal-informed practice to support nervous system regulation and safety.
Sessions move at a pace that feels manageable for you, balancing thoughtful insight with practical tools you can use between appointments.
You can expect a collaborative, non-judgemental environment where your experiences are taken seriously and your autonomy is respected.

We will start by clarifying what you are hoping will be different in your life, and identifying the situations that feel most stressful or painful right now.
Together we will track patterns in your thoughts, emotions, body responses, and relationships so that they become more understandable and less frightening.
Over time, the focus is on building emotional resilience, deepening self-understanding, and supporting you to make choices that are aligned with your values rather than driven by fear or habit.

I work with adults in private practice in Peckham, South East London, offering both in-person and online sessions where appropriate.
Sessions are typically weekly and last 50 or 90 minutes, and we can discuss whether a short-term focus or longer-term open-ended work feels right for you.
