In addition to lecturing in human physiology and dermatology, she played an integral role in supervising student research, developing curricula, and acting as Assistant Dean of Administration. 
Dr. Yassin earned her MBBS from Ahfad University for Women in 1999, followed by an MSc in Human Physiology from the University of Khartoum in 2006. She then completed her MD in Dermatology and Venereology through the Sudan Medical Specialization Board in 2009, and later obtained a Professional Diploma in Dermatology from the Royal College of Ireland in 2023.
She has also pursued further qualifications in aesthetic and laser medicine from institutions such as Sharjah University and Cairo University. Her dedication to staying at the forefront of her field is reflected in her memberships with numerous professional societies, including the Emirates Dermatology Society, the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, the American Academy of Dermatology (as an International Fellow), the European Society for Laser Aesthetic Surgery, the Saudi Society of Dermatology, and the Sudan Society of Dermatology and Venereology.
In addition to her clinical and academic roles, Dr. Yassin has contributed to medical literature with several publications and case studies, covering topics such as psoriasis treatments, drug reactions, cosmetic dermatology, and atopic dermatitis. Her areas of expertise include dermatological diagnosis and treatment, aesthetic dermatology, laser therapy, and clinical teaching.
