Ms Rebecca Lewis is a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. She graduated with her medical degree at King's College London in 2005 along with a first class Bachelor's degree in Anatomy as part of her undergraduate training. After qualifying she completed her higher surgical training in general surgery and oncoplastic breast surgery at a number of centres across London. She was awarded her Certificate of Completion of Training during her Senior Registrar at Imperial College Hospital London in 2020.
Before beginning her current role at Kingston Hospital, Ms Lewis completed a Fellowship in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London. She was also awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery from the University of East Anglia in 2021.
Ms Lewis has extensive experience in the diagnosis and surgical management of breast cancer and is well trained in performing both breast conservation and breast reconstruction procedures.
Ms Lewis also has a keen interest in surgical research and has several publications in peer-reviewed journals. She is passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in her field of expertise and regularly attends national meetings and conferences. In her current post, alongside her consultancy role, Ms Lewis is also Unit Educational Lead and is actively involved in teaching junior doctors.
