Mr. Rahim Hussain is a highly experienced Consultant Neurosurgeon and Spinal Surgeon. With over 28 years of experience in both adult and paediatric neurosurgery, Mr. Hussain has developed an extensive skill set. 

Originally from South India, Mr. Hussain is multilingual, fluent in Telugu, Hindi, Urdu, and English. His career in the UK's healthcare system began in 2005 when he joined the NHS as a Senior Clinical Fellow in Neurosurgery at the Royal Free Hospital in London. He later completed his Spinal fellowship at the Walton Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Liverpool. Throughout his career, Mr. Hussain has worked in some of the UK's leading teaching hospitals.

In addition to his clinical work, Mr. Hussain is a dedicated educator, recognised by the General Medical Council (GMC) as a trainer and serving as a faculty member at the University of Warwick Medical School. Within the University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust (UHCW), where he has held his current position for over six years, he is the Departmental Lead for Morbidity and Mortality.

Mr. Hussain has earned prestigious awards and nominations, including the World Class Colleague Award in 2021 and nominations for Outstanding Service and Care Awards (OSCA). He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCS SN) and holds memberships in various medical societies, including the Society for Research in Hydrocephalus and Spina Bifida, the Society of British Neurological Surgeons (SBNS), the World Spine Column Society, the World Hydrocephalus Society, and the British Medical Association (BMA).
