Professor Helen Brough is a distinguished expert in pediatric allergy and clinical immunology, renowned for her excellence in both research and clinical care. She led the Children's Allergy Service at Evelina London Children’s Hospital, part of Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospital, from 2015 to 2023. Currently, she continues to co-lead the joint asthma and allergy service, as well as the adolescent allergy service, at Evelina London.
Her clinical specialties include managing eczema, food allergies (including oral food immunotherapy), asthma, hay fever, sublingual inhalant immunotherapy, and eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders. Professor Brough has co-authored groundbreaking studies on food allergy prevention and is a principal investigator in the Pronuts and SEAL studies.
