Dr Ozturkeri gained her medical qualifications in 2005 from Yeditepe University Medical School in Istanbul before undertaking neurology specialist training at Baskent University in 2011. She has previously worked in a neurology critical care unit where she managed acute stroke cases and palliative care of dementia patients. In addition, she has been a consultant neurologist at the University of Antara in Turkey.
