Mr Nils Haberland is a spine and brain surgeon at Neuro Spinal Hospital Dubai. He has more than 30 years' experience in managing spine and brain pathologies, and he has pioneered minimally invasive spine surgery (MISS) and spinal navigation combined with intraoperative computed tomography. This is a state of the art spinal surgery which Dr Haberland first published in the USA in 2000. In addition, Mr Haberland was one of the first surgeons in Germany to perform robotic brain surgery. He is an expert in minimally invasive spine microsurgical, endoscopic spine surgery, and complex spinal surgeries with spinal navigation and intra-operative monitoring.
Mr Haberland treats a range of conditions including back and neck pain, sciatica, degenerative and herniated disc disease, spinal stenosis, spine and brain tumours, brain trauma, and hydrocephalus. Outside of his clinical work, Mr Haberland lectures at many international spine conferences and neurosurgery educational events. He is committed to offering his patients the latest treatments from non-surgical methods to advanced surgery. His aim is to provide the highest quality of life using the least amount of intervention.
