Dr. Nikki Baatjes is a highly respected Neurodevelopmental Paediatric Consultant specialising in the assessment and treatment of autism, ADHD, and behavioural challenges. She combines a holistic approach with her expertise in child psychology to deliver personalised care for children and adolescents navigating neurodevelopmental difficulties. Dr. Baatjes privately practices at The Child and Family Practice and serves as a Consultant at Evelina London Children's Healthcare, Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.
Dr. Baatjes completed her medical degree at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and pursued advanced training in Paediatrics in London, earning her Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) from the Royal College of Paediatrics. She has practiced in London since 2001 and further enhanced her expertise by completing an MSc in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King’s College London.
In her NHS role, Dr. Baatjes provides neurodevelopmental assessments and interventions for young people up to the age of 18. Dr. Baatjes has been granted funding by the Evelina Children's Charity to undertake research in girls presenting with autism.
