Mr Neill Patani is a Consultant Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Breast Surgeon at University College London Hospital, as well as an Honorary Associate Professor at the UCL Cancer Institute and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Francis Crick Institute. Mr Patani received his basic surgical training at both UCLH and the Royal Free Hospital. He graduated with honours from UCL Medical School and received undergraduate awards and distinctions in medicine and surgery. After completing his training at the Royal Marsden Hospital, he earned a National Oncoplastic Fellowship in Breast Surgery. His higher surgical training was completed in London and the North-West Thames region, including Charing Cross, St Bartholomew's, and the Royal London Hospitals.
Mr Patani is involved in teaching and is a faculty member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a past National Representative for General Surgery Trainees at the Oncoplastic Breast Surgery Training Interface Group. He has also worked as a surgical teaching fellow at Imperial College Medical School and as an anatomy demonstrator at the Royal Free and University College London Medical Schools.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a member of the Association of Breast Surgeons.
