About
Dr Muhammad Elmussareh is a UK-board certified (CCT) Consultant Urologist and Robotic Surgeon at the American Hospital Dubai, where he is proud to offer his expertise and passion in the management of various urological conditions. He has a special focus on robotic and minimally invasive surgeries of the urinary tract. He is an expert in the managment of kidney cancers, kidney cysts, adrenal tumors, tumors affecting the ureter and prostate diseases. He also specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of urinary tract stones including laser endoscpic treatment for kidney and ureteric stones and shockwave lithotrispy. He has received advanced training and fellowships in minimally invasive surgeries for both benign and malignant urological conditions.
His areas of interest include minimally invasive robotic and laparoscopic surgery, investigations and treatments for urological cancers including kidney and prostate cancers, urinary tract stone disease, lower urinary tract symptoms, urinary tract bleeding (blood in urine), prostate disease and symptoms including prostate enlargement and prostatitis, penile and scrotal pathology, and the investigation and treatment of urinary tract infections.
Dr Elmussareh completed his comprehensive urological training in the Yorkshire region in 2016 and further honed his skills through advanced fellowships in world-renowned European centres. He also undertook a post-CCT fellowship and holds a Master's degree in Urology (ChM) from the University of Edinburgh, where he received the Henry Wade Medal for outstanding performance.
Dr Elmussareh's extensive knowledge and experience have been published in numerous peer-reviewed articles, and he has been a speaker at international conferences.
