About
Mr Will Green is a Consultant Urologist and Head of Service for the Urology Department at Nottingham University Hospitals. Will is also an Honorary Assistant Professor at Nottingham University Medical School.
He treats a wide range of general urological conditions (male and female) and specialises in major cancer surgery, including robotic, keyhole and open surgery for bladder and kidney cancer. He sees patients at The Park Hospital and The Woodthorpe Hospital.
Mr Green graduated with a first-class degree in Neuroscience from the University of Nottingham Medical School before completing his surgical and specialist urology training in the East Midlands. During his training, he gained broad experience in all areas of urology and developed a particular interest in bladder and kidney cancer. To further his expertise, he completed a specialist uro-oncology fellowship in Perth, Western Australia.
Alongside his clinical work, Mr Green is actively involved in research and innovation. He is the Clinical Lead for Research and Innovation within the Cancer and Associated Specialties Division at Nottingham University Hospitals and is the lead investigator for multiple clinical trials including BCGMM and GUSTO bladder cancer trials and the PUR prostate cancer trial. Will regularly publishes in some of the world's leading urological journals. He also serves as the East Midlands Regional Advisor for the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS).
Outside of work Will is a keen sportsman, a huge F1 fan and is married with 3 young boys.
