Mr Nanidis is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon working within both private and NHS settings. His special interest is in breast, trunk and skin surgeries, combining deep knowledge of both reconstructive and cosmetic procedures to provide his patients with excellent care and aesthetic outcomes. Skilled in all aspects of breast and trunk surgery, he specialises in complex reconstructions following the resection of tumours from the abdomen and perineum, sarcoma and skin cancer.
Mr Nanidis graduated with distinctions from University College London Medical School in 2003 and completed his general surgical and higher plastic surgery training in London. After fellowships in the Uk and abroad, he now leads the microsurgical fellowship programme at Spire Clare Park Hospital and works towards improving the training of our junior surgeons. He is also active in research and leads a small research team of junior doctors.
Mr. Nanidis has also recently been nominated for the prestigious LaingBuisson award for his work on drainless surgery and for the reduction in patient hospital stay at the Royal Marsden Hospital. The research team he leads has already received two prestigious awards for research on clinical outcomes in breast reconstruction; a testament to his excellence.
