Mr Lakhani has a keen interest in clinical research. He has just under 30 peer-reviewed articles to his credit and has delivered more than 50 scientific lectures both nationally and internationally. He has received awards for his clinical research, including the Royal Society of Medicine's 'Best Short Paper' award, and in 2016, he was nominated for the Royal Society of Medicine's national 'Trainee of the Year' award.
