Mr Mohammed Saeed

About
After graduating from the University of Manchester in 1988, he undertook his surgical training in the Manchester hospitals and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1992. He went on to complete specialist training in colorectal surgery and in 1999 he was awarded a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) research degree from the University of Manchester. In 2001 he was appointed Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon at Stepping Hill Hospital, where he is now the Clinical Lead for Colorectal Cancer Surgery and Head of Department of Endoscopy.
Mr Saeed is one of the few surgeons in the UK and first in Manchester to routinely perform the HALO operation (minimally invasive surgery for haemorrhoids) and is a trainer for this technique.
He is actively involved in the teaching and training of new surgeons and is a tutor for the Royal College of Surgeons.
