About Mr Michael Booth
Mr Michael Booth is a General and Upper Gastro-Intestinal Surgeon. He has held an NHS Consultant post at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading since 2003, and consults and operates privately at the Berkshire Independent Hospital.. He offers surgical procedures including laparoscopic cholecystectomy, laparoscopic hiatus hernia/anti-reflux surgery, laparoscopic inguinal fernia repair, diagnostic and therapeutic upper GI endoscopy, and excision of skin lumps and bumps. Mr Booth qualified in medicine from Oxford University. He completed BM, BCh degrees at Oxford University in 1990, and was granted an MA from Oxford University in 2002. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1994, and completed his FRCS (General Surgery) Intercollegiate Examination for General Surgery in 2002. He ias a member of the Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons of GB and Ireland, and of the Association of Upper GI Surgery of GB and Ireland. Mr Booth had many peer-reviewed publications regarding his areas of expertise.
