About
Mr Edmondson qualified in 2001 from Guys and St Thomas's hospital. He undertook his higher surgical training in the South East Thames region during which he gained his FRCS. After completing his higher surgical training in Orthopaedics, Mr Edmondson then underwent advanced training in Hip and Knee Arthroplasty (joint replacement) and Tumour Reconstruction in Western Australia. On returning to the UK, he undertook a further year fellowship post in Complex Trauma and Limb Reconstruction at the Major Trauma Centre BSUH, Brighton where he was later appointed as a Consultant.
Mr Edmondson is the Lead Clinician for Hip Fracture Surgery at BSUH which has been highly praised by the CQC for its excellent patient care and outcomes following surgery for fractured hips. He also enjoys a role as a clinical and academic supervisor for trainee doctors.
