About Mr Liam Stapleton
Mr Stapleton is a Consulting Poditrist and Specialist in Podiatric Sports Medicine specialising in the management of sports and musculoskeletal injuries. Mr Stapleton graduated from University of Brighton in 2000 during its period as the centre of excellence for Podiatry in the UK and was among the first 6 Podiatrists nationwide to gain the coveted PGc in Podiatric Sports Medicine from Queen Mary University of London and the PGdip in Podiatric surgery from Queen Margaret University. Mr Stapleton is an extended scope Podiatrist which includes Prescription only Medicine, Corticosteroid, hyaluronic acid and platelet rich plasma (PRP) injection therapy, shock wave therapy, nail and minor skin surgery and ultrasound imaging, with special interest biomechanics and gait analysis. Mr Stapleton holds practicing privileges at KIMS hospital, Maidstone, Lycahealth, Orpington, Harley Street specialist hospital and Phoenix hospital Harley street in London's prestidgous Marylebone medical district and Benenden hospital in Cranbrook Kent. He also runs a Paediatric clinic in King's Hill. Having been honoured to speak at some large national conferences, including the Elevate sports at Excel London, Podiatric Sports Medicine conference, the College of Podiatry national conference and the foot and ankle show, as well as expert opinion pieces published in various sports magazines. Mr Stapleton is also a guest teacher/lecturerer on Queen Mary University of London's Sports and Excerise Medicine Masters degree course, and Chair elect of the Royal College of Podiatry's Podiatric Sports Medicine SAG.
