About
Mr Schultz completed his initial ophthalmic training in Australia in 1991, coming to the UK shortly afterwards to undertake clinical fellowships in vitreoretinal surgery at both St Thomas' Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital in London.
Mr Schultz remains actively involved in research, currently researching new methods of visualising structures in the eye to detect eye disease and is a visiting lecturer at the University of Kent. He is also a former meeting chair of the British and Eire Association of Vitreoretinal Surgeons.
