Mr Daniel Morris

About
Mr Morris graduated with First-Class Honours from the University of St Andrews. He completed general clinical training in Manchester, qualifying in 1999. His Ophthalmology training commenced in Scotland and continued in Newcastle. Mr Morris finished training with an oculoplastic and orbital surgery fellowship at the world-renowned Vancouver Eye Care Center. He is certified by the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Mr Morris has full GMC sub-specialty registration and revalidation.
Mr Morris has a strong research, teaching and leadership portfolio with over 60 peer-reviewed publications. He established a sought-after surgical Fellowship in Cardiff. Mr Morris is passionate about world blindness and established a trachoma project in Kenya. He is also a trustee of a local community link with Tororo in Uganda. Mr Morris is a world authority on the effects of high altitude on the eye and has been on many Himalayan expeditions.
