About Mr Chris Roberts
Mr Roberts qualified in 1992 from the University of London before undergoing the specialist East Anglian Training Rotation. After this, he undertook a year long General Upper Limb Fellowship in Brisbane, Australia and then a six month Shoulder Fellowship in Cape Town, Australia. In 2004, he became a Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics at Ipswich Hospital. His elective practice is solely in upper limb surgery although he also takes part in the general On-Call so deals with all trauma injuries. Furthermore, Mr Roberts has an interest in teaching and he teaches on the Watanabe Shoulder Arthroscopy training programme and teaches on shoulder replacement courses. Mr Roberts has co-authored in several scientific articles on shoulder and elbow surgery and is a member of several organisations. His memberships include BESS (British Elbow and Shoulder Society), BOA (British Orthopaedic Association) and the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
