Mr Antony Kontos

Antony Kontos qualified at The London Foot Hospital and School of Podiatric medicine in 1980. Following his initial qualification, Mr Kontos now has over 30 years' experience in his field. Alongside this, his broad career has meant that he has had tremendous exposure to the varying aspects within his field. His considerable early experience at University College Hospital London and other major teaching and private hospitals have helped to define his career. Looking back upon his time at University College London Hospitals, Mr Kontos cites his work alongside many eminent medical and surgical specialists as shaping his own career. His subsequent experience in podiatric practice is extensive and covers specialist areas such as biomechanics, diabetic footcare and day care foot surgery. His expertise has not only been sought for lectures and clinical teaching but also for consultations with companies such as Unilever, London Weekend Television and the City of London Police. Mr Kontos reviews and treats patients who suffer from generalised foot pain , diabetic foot conditions, nail disorders, plantar fasciitis and verrucas. Owing to his experience, it should come as no surprise that he has been listed in the Tatler List of the Top 250 Health Specialists in the UK. So much so, that his experience is sought after by the large companies noted above, who continue to act as huge proponents of his expertise.
