Mr Mace is Consultant Ear nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon in York teaching Hospital and Honorary Consultant ENT Surgeon in Harrogate District Hospital.

He is the clinical lead in the Balance Centre in York Teaching Hospital and receives referrals from across the North of England. His constant drive is to provide an excellent quality clinical service and good communication is at the heart of his practice.
During Specialist Registrar training in the West of Scotland, he was awarded a Doctorate in Medicine in 2008 following a 2 year Gene Therapy Research Fellowship in Head and Neck Cancer. In 2010 he was awarded the Royal Society of Medicine Otology Training Scholarship and became the Otology and Skull Base Surgery Fellow with Prof. Fagan's team at St Vincent's Hospital in Sydney. He has a medico-legal practice, with a special interest in Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) and Personal Injury (PI).
