Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Elgafy also holds professional memberships with the Egyptian Society of Anaesthetists, the Egyptian Medical Council, the Saudi Heart Association and the Emirates Society of Anaesthesia. He has also been a Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) instructor since 2006.
