Dr Saha received her medical degree from Kings College School of Medicine and Dentistry in 1996. She developed an interest in holistic medicine whilst undertaking her post-graduate general practice training. In 2002, she received her MRCGP as well as membership of the Faculty of Homeopathy. She also holds certificates in female health and occupational medicine.
She later obtained further psychiatry experience while working in Australia. When she returned to the United Kingdom in 2003, she continued working as an NHS GP and established her own private integrated medical practice, which was based at The Hale Clinic and ran until 2009. She moved completely into private practice in 2011.
