About
Mr. Brown's journey began at Otago University in New Zealand, where he graduated with a BPhty degree in 1995. With this solid foundation, he embarked on a career dedicated to musculoskeletal health. His initial experiences involved working within a multidisciplinary environment, treating sports teams of varying levels and the general public, all dealing with musculoskeletal injuries. This role also included serving as a team Physiotherapist for a local rugby club and an assistant Physiotherapist for a county-level rugby team.
Relocating to the UK in the late 1990s, Mr. Brown continued his career within the National Health Service (NHS). He steadily progressed through various roles, eventually attaining the position of an Extended Scope Physiotherapist. In this capacity, he honed the skill of performing joint and soft tissue injections, enhancing his ability to address complex conditions. Utilising advanced imaging techniques, Mr. Brown employs a data-driven approach in his decision-making process for treatment.
His dedication to continuous learning is evident in his academic achievements. In 2004, he achieved a Post Graduate Diploma in injection therapy, earning a Distinction. In 2006, he further expanded his expertise with a Post Graduate Diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine, earning a Merit for his outstanding work. His contributions to the field extend beyond clinical practice; he was published in the Physical Therapy Journal in 2003.
Mr. Brown's commitment to patient care is not confined to his NHS roles. Since 1999, he has seamlessly blended his NHS responsibilities with Private Practice, ensuring that his expertise is accessible to a diverse range of patients. Today, he resides in Kent with his family, balancing his professional commitments with personal interests. Apart from his professional achievements, Mr. Brown is a basketball enthusiast, an avid traveller, and a devoted family man.
With a comprehensive skill set encompassing musculoskeletal injuries, sports-related conditions, and pain management, Mr. Mike Brown stands as a beacon of expertise and compassionate care in the field of physiotherapy.
