After completing her medical studies at King's College London, Dr. Phillips underwent general medical training at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. She then pursued specialised training in medical oncology at Barts Health NHS Trust, where she honed her skills in cancer care.
In 2010, Dr. Phillips embarked on a research journey, earning her PhD in Molecular Oncology. Her doctoral research focused on investigating the intricate role of the tumour microenvironment in drug resistance, contributing valuable insights to the field.
Currently, Dr. Phillips devotes her efforts to the comprehensive management of breast cancer patients at St Bartholomew’s Hospital. She holds significant roles as both Principal and Co-investigator in various clinical trials targeting early and metastatic breast cancer.
Dr. Phillips is a prolific author and co-author of numerous publications, reflecting her dedication to advancing medical knowledge and sharing her expertise with her peers. She is also a sought-after speaker, having presented her research findings at esteemed local and national conferences.
