Dr Mayank migrated to Australia from India in 2009. He gained clinical experience in Brisbane and Sydney before beginning orthopaedic training as a registrar at John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle. Alongside his training, he completed a Master’s in Orthopaedic Surgery at The University of Sydney, focusing his thesis on foot and ankle surgery.
Dr Mayank went on to complete the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA) accredited training program in Perth, gaining extensive trauma and orthopaedic experience. He then undertook advanced fellowship training, completing a foot and ankle fellowship at the Mater Hospital, Brisbane, followed by an AOA-accredited hip and knee arthroplasty fellowship at the Prince Charles Hospital, where he developed expertise in robotic-assisted joint replacement.
He currently holds consultant appointments at The Prince Charles Hospital , where he also teaches and mentors future orthopaedic surgeons.
