Early in her career, she developed a keen clinical interest in women's and sexual health, gut health, medicine management, and clinical leadership. After working as a frontline GP for ten years, Dr. Margarita became convinced that many common chronic conditions stem from deep and complex causes, and that conventional treatments often fail to address the root of the problem.
During her training, she gained versatile experience across various clinical settings, which enriched her approach to patient care. Following her post-graduate GP training on the Isle of Wight—a place she quickly fell in love with—she has made it her home ever since. In 2020, she further expanded her expertise by completing a postgraduate degree in lifestyle functional medicine from the Functional Medicine University.
Dr. Margarita has extensive clinical experience in sexual and reproductive health and is a member of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare. In addition, she holds a Master’s degree in Health Service Leadership and has contributed to establishing a local GP Federation. As a member of the British Medical Association, Medical Defence Union, and the Royal College of General Practice, Dr. Margarita is passionate about root-cause medicine, sharing her knowledge, and empowering patients to achieve healthier lives.
