Obstetrics & Gynaecology
About
Dr. Manisha has been a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists since 1998 and holds the distinction of being a Fellow of the Faculty of SRH. She actively participates in teaching and training, often organising and chairing regional training events and meetings. She also serves as an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Leeds Medical School and holds the position of Training Programme Director for postgraduate training, playing a crucial role in shaping the future consultant workforce in community SRH. Additionally, she serves as a Council member at the Faculty of SRH and takes on other responsible roles within the faculty.
In her NHS Consultant role, Dr. Manisha focuses on women's health and complex contraception. She oversees clinical supervision and governance, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based clinical care. Dr. Manisha has a deep understanding of the various, often subtle ways in which menopause can manifest, its potential negative impact, and the transformative benefits of personalised and collaborative clinical management. She is dedicated to raising awareness about menopause and improving access to holistic and empathetic care.
During an initial consultation, Dr. Manisha conducts a thorough exploration of her patient's symptoms and collaborates closely with them to customise care and treatment to address their individual needs.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
