With a background as a highly decorated Naval Mair protégé and Team Clinician, Luca holds a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science, as well as a Masters degree (M.OSt) in Osteopathy from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also has expertise in Martial Arts, a lifelong passion that complements his dedication to understanding the human body in both health and disease. In addition, Luca holds a Diploma in Naturopathy, certification as a Western Medical Acupuncturist, and is a Level 3 Personal Trainer, Lifeguard, and Swim Instructor accredited by the Institute of Swimming.
Alongside his clinical work, Luca has research interests in cognitive and meta-cognitive dynamics involved in osteopathic observation and palpation. He is currently collaborating with the head of research at The BCNO group to prepare his inaugural academic publication. Furthermore, he serves as a lecturing assistant at The British College of Osteopathic Medicine in London, where he shares his knowledge in Osteopathic technique classes, Visceral Osteopathy, and innovative Clinic Integration modules such as Cadaveric Dissection. Luca finds fulfilment in mentoring pre-clinical undergraduates, instilling in them clinical and diagnostic reasoning methods essential for their future practice.
