Dr Louise Hagan is an AHPRA registered specialist orthodontist and a member of the Australian Society of Orthodontists. Dr Hagan's orthodontic journey began at the National University of Ireland at University College Cork. Following graduation, Dr Hagan moved to the UK. After working in general practice, Dr Hagan undertook fellowship examinations at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Dr Hagan was successful in attaining a place on the specialist training programme at the University of London. Dr Hagan was awarded their Master's Qualification in Orthodontics, with Merit, and their Membership in Orthodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Dr Hagan has a keen interest in research and has published on the subjects of craniofacial anomalies and dental material science in peer-reviewed journals. Dr Hagan is also a member of the Australian Dental Association and the Orthodontic Society of Ireland. Dr Hagan enjoys attending ongoing orthodontic conferences to keep up with the latest techniques and research.
Outside of work, Dr Hagan enjoys spending time with their husband and three children. Dr Hagan is grateful for the outdoor lifestyle that Australia offers, enjoying beach-based activities and bike riding. In their spare time, Dr Hagan enjoys volunteering at their kids' school and is the age manager at their nearest Nippers' life-saving club.
