À propos
Ms Lorna Cummins is a highly skilled Physiotherapist and Practice Partner with a strong academic background and extensive clinical experience across both the public and private sectors. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Sports Science from Loughborough University and a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from the Royal College of Surgeons. Lorna began her career within the HSE, completing her junior rotations and developing a solid foundation across core physiotherapy disciplines before specialising in musculoskeletal therapy.
Her work in the private sector has given her the opportunity to refine her diagnostic and rehabilitative skills, and she is known for her ability to support clients in achieving meaningful, long-term outcomes. Lorna has a particular interest in exercise rehabilitation, sports injuries and occupational injuries, and has developed specialist expertise in managing pre- and post-natal musculoskeletal conditions. She is also a qualified Pilates Specialist, delivering one-to-one sessions and physiotherapy-led Pilates programmes onsite.
Lorna’s commitment to professional development is reflected in her extensive postgraduate training, which includes spinal manual therapy, dry needling, sports massage therapy, ante-natal Pilates, mat-based Pilates therapy and First Aid. She has also completed 200-hour yoga teacher training, further enhancing her holistic approach to movement and recovery.
Outside of her clinical work, Lorna is an accomplished swimmer who has represented Ireland internationally. She has also competed in multiple triathlons and enjoys incorporating yoga into her active lifestyle.
