About Dr Linus Benjamin
Dr Benjamin is a radiation oncologist and an active member of a multidisciplinary cancer care team that coordinates care for people with cancer. A radiation oncologist is a doctor who uses radiation therapy to treat cancer. Radiation therapy uses high-energy rays to kill cancer cells or stop them from growing and dividing. It is a common treatment for many types of cancer. Radiation oncologists work closely with other cancer specialists, such as surgeons, medical oncologists, and pathologists, to develop individualised treatment plans for their patients. They also provide supportive care to patients and their families during and after cancer treatment. They are committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred care.
"Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions."
