About
Dr. Solman earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the School of Medicine at the University of Zagreb in 2003 and trained in Paediatric . She subsequently moved to the UK to further her training in dermatology in Leeds and London. She was awarded her Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) for paediatrics in 2010 and for dermatology in 2018. Additionally, she is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH).
In her professional career, Dr. Solman has made contributions to numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. Her research achievements include prestigious fellowships with the UK’s Dermatology Clinical Trials Network and the British Society of Paediatric Dermatology. Notably, she was the first author of the UK guidelines on the treatment of infantile haemangiomas. Dr. Solman has also presented her work at various national and international scientific meetings.
Dr. Solman's comprehensive training allows her to deliver the highest standard of multidisciplinary care to her patients. She adopts a holistic approach to treatment, ensuring that each patient receives individualised care tailored to their specific needs.
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Solman holds a substantive NHS consultant post at Great Ormond Street Hospital, where she treats some of the most severe paediatric skin conditions in the UK. She also offers private consultations at Eudelo, where she sees patients of all ages with skin conditions. Her special interests include birthmarks, eczema, acne, and rosacea.
Dr. Solman is a member of the UK Therapy & Guidelines committee of the British Association of Dermatologists. Her accolades include a research fellowship with the UK’s Dermatology Clinical Trials Network and a travel fellowship with the British Society of Paediatric Dermatology. She also serves on the Executive Committee of the British Society for Paediatric Dermatology.
