Ms. Laura O' Donnell Donohoe graduated with a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Occupational Therapy from the University of Liverpool in 2014. Since qualifying, she has gained extensive experience working in a variety of settings across the UK, overseas, and in Dubai, in both NHS and private healthcare environments.
Laura has a special interest in sensory processing difficulties, early years intervention, learning disabilities, and service development. She has worked in both clinical and school settings, focusing on building strong relationships with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support optimal development. Currently, she is progressing through sensory integration training to further enhance her expertise in this area.
Her career includes roles as a registered occupational therapist at kidsFIRST Medical Center in Dubai, and previous positions at The London Children's Practice (2009) Ltd, where she served as a Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist and Team Lead, as well as various roles within the NHS in London. Early in her career, she also worked as a Junior Occupational Therapist with MOH Holdings in Singapore. Throughout her diverse experiences, Laura has demonstrated a strong commitment to patient care, team leadership, and ongoing professional development in the field of paediatric occupational therapy.
