Dr. Al Khouri completed a residency in internal medicine and a cardiology fellowship at Paris Descartes University. She subsequently pursued subspecialty training in cardiac electrophysiology through a one-year fellowship at McMaster University and the University of Toronto in Canada. She obtained her MD in cardiology in 2013 and completed a MSc in Heart Failure at St. George’s University of London in 2025.
Her clinical practice covers simple and complex arrhythmias, congenital heart diseases, ventricular tachycardia ablation, pulmonary vein isolation, and management of accessory pathways. She also works in cardiac device therapy, including CRT for heart failure, biventricular pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators, device management, and lead extraction. Additional areas of focus include Long QT Syndrome, sudden cardiac death, cardio-oncology, and heart failure.
Outside of medicine Dr. Al Khouri enjoys horse riding and reading.
