Dr. Kowshik is a highly experienced Paediatric Endocrinologist with over 20 years of experience working with children in the UK and Middle East. He is a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and has completed his CCT in Paediatrics and Neonates with a special interest in Endocrinology and Diabetes. Dr. Kowshik has worked as a Consultant in prestigious institutions in the UK before moving to the UAE, where he has served as a Consultant and Chief of Department in reputable hospitals. He has also been an Assistant Professor at the Gulf Medical University.
Dr. Kowshik has an interest in medical education and has taught medical students from the Universities of Bristol, Cardiff, and London. He has published numerous articles and has been the Principal Investigator in research studies in the UK. Dr. Kowshik is an Honorary Lecturer at Bristol University and has served as a College Tutor at the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.
Dr. Kowshik specialises in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of paediatric endocrine disorders, including Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes, thyroid disorders, pituitary and adrenal disorders, short stature and growth hormone disorders, delayed and precocious puberty, and obesity. He is an active member of various international paediatric endocrine societies, including the European Society of Paediatric Endocrinology, the British Society of Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes, the Arab Society of Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes, and the International Endocrine Society. Dr. Kowshik is committed to providing the highest quality of care to his young patients and their families.
