Prior to this, she worked as a Consultant at Gargash Hospital in Dubai from March to July 2024, and served as the Head of the Department at Canadian Specialist Hospital in Dubai from 2008 to 2024.
Her experience also includes significant leadership roles in Kirkuk, where she acted as Consultant and Head of the Department at Kirkuk General Hospital from 2006 to 2008, and worked as an Obstetrics and Gynaecology Specialist at Saddam General Hospital from 1991 to 1996. Dr. Jameel began her medical career in Iraq, serving in various hospitals in Kirkuk and Baghdad, where she held positions from General Practitioner to Specialist and Registrar.
Dr. Jameel's academic background includes an MBChB from Mosul University, Iraq, and a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Baghdad University. She also completed training at Lewisham University Hospital and Royal Free Hospital in London.
