He is also proficient in complex treatments such as the implantation of artificial hearts, heart transplantation, and providing mechanical circulatory support, including Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenator (ECMO) therapy.
Dr Alkhamis is an active member of several international professional organisations. His memberships include the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation, the International Society for Minimally Invasive Cardiothoracic Surgery, and the European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, reflecting his commitment to staying at the forefront of his field.
