Dr. Khaldoon's areas of expertise encompass a wide range of thoracic surgeries. He specializes in keyhole VATS surgery (uniportal/biportal video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery), thoracic oncologic surgery, lung cancer surgery, thymus surgery, and esophageal surgery. He also performs VATS pediatric thoracic surgery and bronchoscopy, as well as VATS pleural surgery for conditions such as pleural effusions, pneumothorax, and empyema with infected lungs. Additionally, he is skilled in surgeries of the airways, diaphragm, and chest wall (pectus surgery), and the management of thoracic trauma.
