Ms Kerrie McAllister is a Consultant Paediatric Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon based at Ross Hall Hospital in Crookston and Ross Hall Clinic Braehead in Renfrew. She specialises exclusively in the diagnosis and management of ear, hearing, breathing, and balance disorders in children aged 3 to 16 years.
A graduate of the University of Glasgow (2001), Ms McAllister completed her basic surgical training before undertaking six years of higher surgical training in ENT within the West of Scotland Deanery. She went on to achieve her Intercollegiate Fellowship in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery (FRCS ORL-HNS) and completed an advanced fellowship in Ear, Skull Base, and Cochlear Implant Surgery at Auckland City Hospital and Starship Children’s Hospital in New Zealand.
Appointed as a Consultant in Paediatric ENT at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow in 2015, Ms McAllister now works exclusively with paediatric patients.
She is deeply involved in medical education as a Surgical Trainer, Educational Supervisor, and Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Glasgow. Additionally, she is a member of the British Association for Paediatric Otolaryngology and European Society of Paediatric Otorhinolaryngology
