About Ms Katy Jackson
Ms. Katy Jackson is an experienced chartered psychologist, psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, and trauma specialist, bringing more than 25 years of clinical practice to her work. Her expertise covers a range of areas, with a particular focus on trauma, acute and chronic illness, anxiety disorders, women's health and fertility, work-related stress and burnout, depression, self-esteem and identity issues, as well as neurodiversity. In her practice, Ms. Jackson provides a safe and confidential space for clients to explore and address their life challenges, including those that may be emotionally distressing or perplexing. She empowers individuals to navigate their circumstances, equipping them with effective coping tools and facilitating the changes they need to make. Ms. Jackson has a versatile therapeutic approach, which draws from various modalities such as psychodynamic and humanistic counselling, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), trauma-informed therapy, including somatic therapy and Internal Family Systems, cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness, hypnotherapy, and health psychology. She firmly believes in the interconnection of mental and physical well-being and takes an integrative approach, considering all aspects of a person's health, including emotional, spiritual, lifestyle, relational, and community factors. Ms. Jackson's areas of specialisation include delivering psychoeducational webinars, corporate podcasts, specialist seminars, and lectures on topics related to mental health, resilience, well-being, and integrative health. She holds esteemed professional accreditations and memberships, including Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS), full registration with the UK Health Profession Council (HPCP), and accreditation as a member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).
