She spent 17 years with a Community Addictions Service, serving as Clinical Lead and contributing to the development of SIGN chronic pain guidance and Scottish Government MAT standards.
Currently an Associate Medical Director and medicinal cannabis prescriber, Dr. Forbes is dedicated to enhancing patient care and improving access to innovative treatments. She co-founded the Borders Pain Clinic to promote NHS integration and increase cannabis accessibility in Scotland.
