Dr Jelena Maksimovic is a Specialist Paediatrician with 17 years of experience in general paediatrics, providing expert medical care to children from infancy through adolescence. She earned her medical degree from the University of Belgrade School of Medicine in Serbia and completed her specialist paediatric training at the University Children’s Hospital in Belgrade.
Dr Maksimovic began her medical career at the Institute for Emergency Medical Services and the University Children’s Hospital in Belgrade, where she developed extensive experience in paediatric emergency medicine and comprehensive child health. She later joined the American Hospital Dubai, where she continues to deliver high-quality care to her patients.
Her clinical practice focuses on newborn care, well-baby check-ups, immunisations, and monitoring of growth and developmental milestones. She manages both acute and chronic paediatric conditions and provides clinical assessment for puberty-related concerns. Dr Maksimovic also advises on childhood nutrition and weight management.
