He has worked in the UAE and Egypt, and has also held a post at the Freiburg University Medical Centre in Germany.
He received eight years of dedicated plastic and reconstructive surgery training from the renowned Freiburg University Medical Center in Germany before moving to the UAE in 2013. In the field of aesthetic surgery, he is well known for his ethical and honest approach, providing patients with detailed explanations of procedures. His main areas of interest are face, breast and body sculpturing. In reconstructive surgeries, Dr Jamil treats complicated face, breast and hand surgery cases that include face and hand trauma, as well as tumour cases.
Dr. Jamil Al Jamali has a particular expertise in performing surgeries of the hand, such as congenital hand anomaly correction, acute hand trauma including fingers replantation, fractures fixation, carpal tunnel release, hand burns and treatment of excessive sweating. Maxillofacial surgeries performed by Dr. Al Jamali include cleft lip and palate correction. He uses the most advanced technology and instruments to achieve perfect results. Dr Jamil believes in using plastic surgery as an artistic tool to correct deformities and serious surgical problems as well as an ideal way to sculpture the body using science, skill and technology.
Dr. Al Jamali is a member of a number of professional associations in his area of specialisation. He is a founder member of the Gulf Wound Management Association (GWMA), and is a member of the German Society of Plastic and Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, the Egyptian Society of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery, the Emirates Society of Plastic Surgery, AO Craniofacial Surgery, Interplast Germany, the Pan Arab Hand and Microsurgery Society, and others. He is a member of the Kidz Smile Sudan (KSS) Charity group.
When Dr. Al Jamali gets some time away from his busy work schedule, he pursues his love for playing the piano, learning languages, and travelling. He can converse with his patients in Arabic, English and German.
