Dr James Di Michiel is a Consultant Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Physician. Dr Di Michiel completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Sydney, before undertaking a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Notre Dame Sydney, completing their studies in 2011. Following this, they became a resident medical officer at Royal Prince Alfred, St George and Sutherland Hospitals in Sydney. Dr Di Michiel completed their Respiratory Specialist training at Concord and St Vincent's hospitals. They were awarded the Tracey Robinson award for the best original project by a Respiratory Trainee for work in primary ciliary dyskinesia and bronchiectasis. Dr Di Michiel is currently continuing research via a Masters of Medicine in the area of Sleep Medicine.
