Dr Jaimal Kothari is an Oxbridge-trained Consultant Haematologist and Haemato-oncologist, with private practice based at Leaders in Oncology Care, Harley Street, London with further practice locations at GenesisCare in Oxford and Windsor.

Dr Kothari graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in medical sciences at the University of Cambridge, before completing his medical training at the University of Oxford. He undertook his haematology training at the internationally renowned University College Hospital London (UCLH), which included an advanced fellowship on the comprehensive treatment of myeloma and associated conditions.
He also has a busy NHS, research-focused consultant post at Oxford University Hospitals, where he is responsible for leading clinical trial research for malignant haematology.
He is also the clinical lead for myeloma and associated disorders across The Thames Valley, which covers a population of over 2.5 million people.
He is a primary investigator in numerous clinical trials for new treatments in myeloma and lymphoma, and has published extensively in high-impact clinical and scientific journals, including senior authorship in national guidelines. He is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Haematology at the University of Oxford, and has lectured locally, regionally and nationally over the years. In addition to his consultancy position, Dr Kothari is co-chair of the Thames Valley regional myeloma multi-disciplinary team meeting and part of the Medical Advisory Committee for the patient charity WMUK.
